This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.

Today, I am reminding myself of the importance of my daily prayer time.
Lately, I’ve had a wave of work and family events crashing over me. To put it mildly, it’s been a stressful time.
Typically I’m an early riser, but this wave of work and stress is causing me to have late nights, which makes it very difficult to rise early. Instead of rising early, I’ve been sleeping in as long as I can.
When this happens, it throws me off my daily routine. This means that I’ve been missing my morning worship time, which is the time I dedicate to my prayers and studying the Scriptures.
What I’ve noticed is that this has been impacting my spirit in several ways. I’m less tolerant, and I’m more impatient. I’ve even been experiencing some anxiety.
I once heard a pastor say that there are three “A’s” associated with the power of prayer. The first “A” is that prayer gives you the authority over the voices in this world. The second “A” gives you an assurance of your plan and purpose. The third “A” gives you an anointing required to make a difference.
I have been missing my prayer time, and I’m noticing a difference in these areas. If you are like me, feeling stressed and overwhelmed, let us remember these few words: “Pray without ceasing…” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (ESV)

So today, don’t become too stressed that you don’t start your morning the right way.
Delores Orr
This is so true. This year has been a difficult year. My Mother went home to be with the Lord,. Even tho she was nighty two i miss her greatly. I saw her everyday and to make matters worse my cousin who was like a big brother to me has also gone home to the Lord. I pray but not as fervently as i should. Pray for our family. I know it will get better, but I’m challenged now. I love you and I’m grateful for your Ministry and your Love!
