Scripture reference: Psalm 91:1
Transcription:
As we begin Advent, a season of hope and anticipation, let us look to Psalm 63 for inspiration. In this psalm, David expresses his deep longing for God’s presence, even in the midst of the wilderness. He finds solace and strength in God’s love, rejoicing in the shadow of His wings.
Psalm 63 reminds us that, despite our challenges, we can find refuge in God’s steadfast love. Verse 7 says, “Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings” (Psalm 63:7). This message of hope is particularly poignant as we enter the Advent season, a time to reflect on God’s faithfulness and our confident expectation of His provision.
Today, hold on to this truth — God has kept you, protected you, and provided for you. Only in the shadow of His wings, will you find true safety and comfort. May this Advent season be a time of renewal and rejoicing in His enduring love.
As you reflect on that, remember these words: “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1
