Scripture reference: Ephesians 3:20
Transcription:
“The prophet Elisha asks the widow, who is in debt and is about to lose her children: “What do you have in your house?” She says, “Nothing… except a jar of oil.” Her response implies that she sees little value in what she has.
The notion of lack can arise from the idea that what you have is too old, has no value, or will not be appreciated by others. God sees value in what we have even when we don’t.
Just as Elisha multiplied what the widow had such that she had enough to live on even after paying her debts, God can transform what you have, no matter how small, if you believe. His provision has no limits.
What gift, skill, or resource has God blessed you with that He wants to multiply? Here’s a hint: It might be right under your nose.
As you think about that, remember these words: “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think….” Ephesians 3:20”
