Scripture reference: Galatians 6:9 (ESV)
Today, I am inspiring you about what to do when you feel as though you’ve been thrown for a loop.
When I turn to the Scriptures, I wonder if this is how Joseph felt when he was in prison. Joseph did a favor for the cupbearer by interpreting his dream. Joseph’s only request was once the cupbearer got released, he would ask Pharoah to release him from prison.
But, once the cupbearer got out of jail, he forgot all about Joseph.
In that moment, Joseph must have felt that he had been thrown for a loop. That seemed to be the perfect opportunity for his release, but God didn’t come through that door.
Although, he remained steadfast, keeping his heart, spirit, and mind in the right place, and God blessed him abundantly.
The next time you feel like you’ve been thrown for a loop, cling to these words:
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 (ESV)
