There’s a gift God has placed within every believer — His Holy Spirit, dwelling, guiding, and working in us. This promise was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost, when disciples started to speak in other “tongues.” Some were amazed. Others called them drunk. But Peter stood firm, reminding them that God had long promised, “I will pour out my Spirit on all my servants.” (Acts 2:18)
That same Spirit now lives in you.
Yet sometimes, we treat the Holy Spirit like fine china — something we only reach for on special occasions. But David reminds us that God’s presence is meant to be our daily joy, our steady path, our unshakable place.
Just as I wear my grandmother’s earrings daily to keep her close, the Holy Spirit is with you daily — not just waiting for a crisis or a special occasion but inviting you to always be aware of God’s nearness.
