Scripture reference: Lamentations 3:22-23
Transcription:
As fall arrives, the warmth of summer is still in the air. This transition between seasons can mirror our personal lives, where we often find ourselves between now and what is yet to come. Living between two seasons can bring a sense of discontent as we struggle to remain fully present in our circumstances.
When we fixate on new beginnings and the doors about to open, we risk missing the blessings and lessons of the present moment. It can feel like one foot planted in today and the other eagerly stepping into tomorrow. Yet, as Matthew 6:34 reminds us, we shouldn’t worry about tomorrow; each day has enough trouble. By focusing too much on what’s ahead, we can overlook the value of our current season.
There’s profound power in finding joy right where we are. John 15:11 encourages us to embrace this joy, promising that our joy will be complete when we remain present in God. So, as you navigate between seasons in your own life, remember to cherish the here and now. Embrace the beauty of today and let God’s love fill your heart, guiding you through every season with grace and a sense of hope.
As you think about that, remember these words: “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies…are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23
