This is our B Moment. Our moment to Be still…to Be fed by the Word of God…to Be grateful.
Scripture reference: Ephesians 3:20
Today I am reminding myself of that Great I AM power that is within me. Recently, I talked about leaping from my comfort zone into my miracle. When I have these thoughts, sometimes I create a visual in my mind.
Recently, I recalled when I was a young girl going to summer camp, and I would brace myself to jump off the diving board into the deep end of the pool.
I would get to the edge of the diving board and the butterflies in my stomach would go stir crazy. I would get so frightened because I hadn’t jumped in a whole year, and I wasn’t sure if I still had it.
When I think of those feelings, I think about how inadequate Moses felt when God instructed him to confront Pharaoh to release the Israelites from bondage. Initially, Moses rejected this assignment and responded to God in so many words that he was an inadequate speaker and called his words clumsy.
God responded, “Who makes people so they can speak or not speak, hear or not hear?” He goes on to say that he can essentially use a burning bush, a staff, a stuttering mouth, whatever is necessary to achieve his plan. The key is for everything that we are not, He is.
The words on my heart right now are, “His mighty power is at work within us to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians 3:20.
Tomorrow, let’s talk about staying the course. Please share this reflection, because others desire to be inspired.
So today, let’s release our butterfly feelings and remember that for everything we are not, God is.
