This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Isaiah 55:9 (NLT)
Today, I am thinking about how God will use the least among us to bless us. Because of this, we must keep an open mind about where our next blessing will come from.
In this series about blessings, we’ve talked about what to do in between our blessings. We also discussed the emotional clutter we may need to turn over to God so that we don’t block our blessings. Today, we are thinking about keeping an open mind about where that next blessing will come from because sometimes it comes from those we’d least expect.
As I think about that, I recall the story of the Samaritan woman. When Jesus met her at the well, she had previously had five husbands and she was even, at that time, living with a man who was not her husband.
However, Jesus still chose to reveal to her that he was the Messiah. She returned to her hometown and told everyone there that she had met a man who knew everything about her. In the end, this led to the entire town turning to God.
Therefore, we should be assured that our ways are not God’s ways. We never know which door or person God is going to use to deliver our next blessing. The key is to keep an open mind.
As you reflect on the next blessing you’re waiting for, keep an open mind as to which door God might come through. To remember that, cling to these words: “For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:9 (NLT)
Please share this reflection as others desire to be inspired.
So today, keep an open mind as to where your next blessing is coming from.

Thanks for today’s thoughts. EMOTIONAL CLUTTER was mentioned. I am working on both my emotion and physical clutter. Removing it so I can better reflect GOD’S PRESENCE! As well as accept more of GOD’s goodness into my life!
