What a powerful message, founded on today’s scripture, “Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.” Great reminder that the “thing” calling to me is my treasure and in keeping with God’s purpose for me. It’s so easy to get caught up in believing that the work before me is all important because it pays the bills, fulfills commitments I have made to others, or validates my worth by some external standard. But if those activities bring no joy because they are not in keeping with the desires of my heart, however, they are not where our ‘treasure’ lies no matter how much praise or money or external validation these activities bring. So today I will meditate on and listen for that heart’s calling, knowing that’s where my treasure truly lies. Bless you for this inspired message!

Alee – thanks so much for sharing your wisdom and light always. I also love that scripture too, as it often keeps me in check on where my values really lie. Thanks again!

I love this message. I think many times ( at least for me) I feel that God knows my heart and that’s good enough but I Sm not always aware that my heart should also be aligned with my behavior and interactions with people I care about and love. So lately I have been making an effort to show and give love even when it’s hard (because sometimes loving someone is hard work!). Thanks for sharing!
