Most of our day we spend doing…This is our moment to be.
Scripture reference: Isaiah 60:22 (NLT)
Today, let us release the desire for a due date.
As a mom, I know what it’s like to be pregnant and to be given a due date for the birth of my child. Yet as an entrepreneur, I also know what it’s like to be pregnant with a vision, but not be able to determine the day my vision will bear fruit.
I imagine this is the same impatience Abraham felt when God told him that Sarah would bear his child. After a number of years had passed, Abraham began to feel as though God’s promise of a child would never come to pass.
This same uncertainty can plague us, too. There may be times when we don’t have a specific date of when God’s promise to us will materialize, so our faith may begin to wane.
Yet, just as God kept His word to Abraham by blessing him with a child, He will keep His word to us.
So, let us cling to these words to fortify our faith: “At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” Isaiah 60:22 (NLT)
