The Prayer We Keep Taking Back
Scripture references: Psalm 37:5 (ESV) How often do we place a prayer in God’s Hands, only to clutch it back moments later? We pray with sincerity, yet our hearts wrestle with trust — trust in God’s will, His timing, and His overall approach. Is it control we crave? Or is it fear — fear that God’s answer may look different than our own, or that His response may lead us where we hadn’t planned to go? When I struggle to surrender, it’s often because I’m clinging to my version of the outcome, not trusting the divine story God has already written for me.
