Scripture reference: Ephesians 2:7
Transcription:
While we often praise God for what He has done, there’s profound power in praising Him in anticipation of what He will do. Advent is the perfect time to reflect personally and anticipate God’s promises to you. 2 Corinthians 1:20 tells us, “For all the promises of God find their Yes in him.”
Take Paul and Silas in the Book of Acts as an example. Despite being arrested, beaten, and imprisoned, they sang and prayed around midnight. They shifted their focus from suffering to hope, choosing to worship God in anticipation of His promises being fulfilled.
This Advent, let’s follow Paul and Silas’s example. Turn your attention from your struggles to the hope found in God’s promises. Sing, worship, and praise Him not just for His past deeds but for all He has in store for you.
As you reflect on that, remember these words: “…so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:7
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
