This Memorial Day, let’s take a moment to honor the unsung heroes—not just those in history but those in our everyday lives.

While the Bible highlights great figures like Moses, Noah, and Mary, many others worked tirelessly in the shadows to carry forward God’s message. One such man was Tychicus, who paved the way for Paul’s ministry. He wasn’t the one on stage, but his work made the impact possible.

How often do we desire the spotlight, yet God calls us to serve in humility? There was a time I wrestled with this myself, wanting recognition for the good I did. But I’ve learned that when service comes from the spirit rather than the ego, the work itself becomes the reward.

So today, embrace your role—whether seen or unseen—knowing that God honors faithful hearts.

As you reflect on that, remember these words: “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve…” Mark 10:45

This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.

So today, recognize an unsung hero.
