This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

Today I am encouraging you to remain faithful—even when it looks awkward.
Staying the course or waiting on one of God’s promises to be fulfilled can be very difficult. Things can appear to be an uphill battle when your circumstances no longer make sense to you and your prayers go unanswered for so long.
Sometimes remaining steadfast in God’s promises can even cause you to look silly to others. I have learned from personal experience that it’s best to hold onto God’s promises—even through the awkwardness of it all.
When I turn to the Scriptures, this is exactly what Noah did. I am sure that Noah must have looked quite silly to many during the time he was building an ark—especially on those days when there was not a cloud in the sky.
Yet Noah clung to the task of building his ark. He remained steadfast in what God called him to do. He did it at the expense of perhaps looking silly to others, continuing even when everything around him told him to throw in the towel.
It was, of course, more important for Noah to look silly in the short term so that he could be known as a faithful servant of God in the long term.
What do you need to do in 2020 that will allow you to press through the awkwardness of it all? As you think about that, remember these words: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
