Scripture reference: Proverbs 31:27-28

Mother’s Day is approaching, and today, I’m reflecting on the incredible ways a mother loves her child. Sometimes, her love is radiant, expressed through warm embraces, words of encouragement, and unwavering support. Other times, her love is invisible, sacrificial, or even tough.

A mother’s love is not just about comfort but about growth. There are moments when she sees the need to stretch her child beyond what feels easy or familiar. In these seasons, her love might be misunderstood—it may feel like discipline. Yet, just as a tree in the wilderness sends its roots deeper in search of water, a mother encourages her child to dig deeper, to find their inner strength, and to rise into the person they are truly meant to be.

As you reflect on mothers and mother figures who have loved in ways seen and unseen, remember these words: “She looks well to the ways of her household…Her children rise up and call her blessed.” Proverbs 31:27-28

This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
