Scripture reference: Revelations 3:8
Transcription:
In the story of Nehemiah, we see a powerful example of readiness and faith. Nehemiah wasn’t impulsive when he learned of the need to rebuild Jerusalem. Instead, he prayed to God and carefully formed a plan. When the king inquired, Nehemiah was ready. His readiness allowed him to undertake a monumental task that touched many lives.
Things that create a significant impact require time, dedication, and preparation. Here are three (3) best practices for staying ready for the opportunities God has for you: 1) intimate prayer, 2) careful planning, and 3) hard work.
When you embrace these principles, you position yourself to walk through the doors God holds open for you. Stay ready, and trust that you can accomplish great things with God’s guidance.
As you reflect on that, remember these words – “I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close.” Revelations 3:8
