Scripture reference: Jeremiah 1:5 (ESV)

Today I am encouraging you not to settle for a lesser vision of your life.
Sometimes settling for less can be so ingrained in our thinking that we subconsciously settle. The story about the lame man at the beautiful gate underscores this very point.
First, we know that this man had been lame since birth, so the only vision he had of his life was seeing himself as a cripple. Because others brought him to the gate each day to beg, we know that he enlisted them also to buy into this lesser vision of his life.
Although, when he asked Peter for money and Peter healed him instead, he rose to his feet and praised God all the way into the temple. God uses this lame man to show us what’s possible with Him.
Are you settling for a lesser vision of what God has called you to do? If so, remember these words:
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 (ESV)
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
