Scripture reference: Isaiah 26:3
Transcription:
Years ago, when I allowed the world to let me lose sight of the real reason for this season, I had a profound “Aha” moment. Between work, family commitments, and the commercial pressures of the season, I found myself exhausted and stressed. Usually, I’m an early riser, but I began sleeping in and skipping my morning worship time. This left me anxious, impatient, and less tolerant, not the spirit you want, especially during Christmastime.
After weeks of this struggle, God would show me the 3 A’s of the power of prayer:
- Authority – Prayer gives you authority over the voices and distractions of this world.
- Assurance – Prayer reassures you of God’s plan and purpose for your life.
- Anointing – Prayer anoints you with the strength and wisdom needed to make a difference.
The next time you feel overwhelmed, remember your three A’s.
As you reflect on that, remember these words: “You will keep in perfect peace…all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” Isaiah 26:3
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
