This is your B moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Psalm 34:17 (ESV)

Today I want you to know that sometimes God will take you to the brink only to remind you that He has you.
Recently we asked the question, how much more has to happen before God acts? We reflected on Habakkuk’s plea when he said, “Oh Lord, how long shall I cry for help and you will not hear?” The moment you begin to feel you’re at the brink is the perfect time to remind yourself how God longs for you to expect great things from Him.
When I turn to the Scriptures, I think about when the Israelites fled Egypt after being in slavery for more than four hundred years. When God guided them out of Egypt, they ended up between the wilderness and the Red Sea. When the Israelites saw Pharaoh’s army in the distance marching toward them, they panicked because they had nowhere to run but into the Red Sea.
God had brought them to the brink only to reveal that He had them. Just as they feared the worst, God instructed Moses to hold his staff over the Red Sea, and a path opened up for the Israelites to walk through on dry ground.
Is God leading you to the brink? If so, begin expecting, and watch for His awesome power to be revealed in your situation. As you do so, remember these words: “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.” Psalm 34:17 (ESV)
