Scripture references: Matthew 5:16 (ESV)
Sometimes, we bless others by our example. Paul and Silas had been beaten, bound, and imprisoned, yet they chose to pray and sing hymns to God long before any sign of deliverance appeared.
Then came the earthquake. Every chain fell loose, and every door swung open.
The jailer woke to a scene that should have ended his life, because he assumed the prisoners had escaped.
But when he realized Paul, Silas, and the other prisoners had remained, something in him broke.
In that moment, Paul and Silas were more concerned about the jailer’s salvation than their freedom.
Watching them live out their faithfulness became the jailer’s turning point.
That night, he was saved, and so was his entire household.
Your faithfulness may be the very thing God uses to bless someone else.
As you reflect on this, remember these words: “…let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father…” Matthew 5:16 (ESV)
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
