Today, both love and spiritual renewal are in the air as it is both Valentine’s Day and the first day of the Lent season.
I can easily recall the times I started a fast that I did not finish or fasted with a group of ladies and was more focused on going deeper with the group than with God.
Thank God those days are behind me. While I still practice fasting, I also focus on giving up those things that create a distance between myself and the presence of God. Things like worry, anxiety, impatience, and the need to be right.
When I can practice this, my spirit is renewed, and I am in a better place to love and to be loved. Can you relate to that?
If so, I invite you to acknowledge your spiritual growth and draw nearer to God this Lent season more than ever.
As you reflect on that, remember these words: “The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” Psalm 145:18 (ESV)

Jesus love all of us. How can you love someone you never seen and not love your neighbor! Because you have a loving spirit, you turn the other way when don wrong by a person! Our walk and talk should show the love we have for God!!
God sacrifice so much for us, now is the time to sacrifice for him. Clean/ refresh your body, revisit your friends/associates, and center yourself with God spiritual situations.
Draw me nearer by renewing myself and a clean heart!!
