This is your B moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.

Today I am encouraging you to trust God, even when you don’t understand Him.
Maybe you’re like me, and can sometimes be guilty of saying you trust God, but then you spend most of your time and energy trying to understand His next move in your life. You might be most prone to do this when you have been praying about something, and He hasn’t answered you yet.
You spend your days trying to read the tea leaves, and you seek a glimmer of hope in each little incident that occurs. Trust me—I know these moves all too well because these are my moves too. Yet what I’m learning is that what matters most to God is not understanding Him but rather trusting Him.
As close as the disciples were to Christ, they didn’t always understand what he was teaching them. This was especially true when he taught using parables. In other words, the disciples often didn’t know where God was leading them or why He was leading them to a specific place.
However, as Jesus points out in the Scriptures, “My sheep listen to my voice. I know them, and they follow me.” The disciples may have lacked understanding, but they compensated for it with a willingness to trust Jesus.
Is there an area in your life where you could trust Jesus more? If so, remember these words: “Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, ‘Do not fear, only believe.’” Mark 5:36 (ESV)
