Scripture reference: Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
Transcription:
The word “faith” can be summed up in a few words: trust God and act. Think of it like a two-step dance. Trust and act. Trust and act.
Sometimes, God is preparing you for greater, but you can’t see it. You may want a certain situation removed from your life when God is actually using that situation to prepare you for something greater.
I’m sure the woman who poured her expensive perfume over Jesus’ head could have become trapped in the security of saving it. Instead, she trusted how she was being led and then she acted.
When she gave all of herself at that moment, even tuning out Peter’s remarks that she was being wasteful, Jesus said wherever the good news is preached, her deed will be talked about in her memory.
As you think about that, remember these words: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid…for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
