Unbeknownst to Her

We often look for signs and clarity, especially during times of uncertainty. But it’s important to remember that God works in His own timing and ways, often orchestrating things with vivid precision beyond our understanding. We don’t always connect the dots until after the fact.

Take the Samaritan woman in John 4:5-30 as an example. She went to the well one day, unaware that her steps were being divinely ordered to meet the Messiah. Unbeknownst to her, she would encounter the living water that would cause her never to thirst again. Unbeknownst to her, this encounter would transform her stature and lead her to convert her entire town.

If you find yourself in a place of uncertainty, be comforted in knowing that God is orchestrating things on your behalf in ways you least expect.

As you think about that, remember these words: “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” Proverbs 16:9
