When God places an assignment on your heart, excitement often comes with hesitation. You want to step forward, but fear, doubt, or even distractions can cause delay.
How many times have you put off a calling—choosing comfort over courage?
David understood the value of time. Though known as a warrior king, he spent time developing his gifts—playing the harp, dancing, and even refining his archery skills. More importantly, he never let fear keep him from saying yes to God.
Each moment presents a choice—will you invest in God’s calling or let hesitation hold you back? The time you’ve been given is not random; it’s a divine opportunity to walk boldly in purpose.”
Today, ask yourself: Is something holding me back from fully embracing what God has placed in my heart?
As you reflect on that, remember these words: “I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work you gave me to do.” John 17:4 (ESV)
