This is your B moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Psalm 37:6-7 (NIV)

Today I want you to know that God will validate you right in the face of your naysayers.
A group of naysayers can be those who see you as beneath them or who don’t value what you have to offer. This is exactly what Jesus did for Bartimaeus, a blind beggar. Bartimaeus was sitting on the roadside among a great crowd when he cried out, “Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me!”
When several in the crowd heard Bartimaeus’ plea, they immediately rebuked him and told him to be silent. They saw this blind beggar as a nobody, someone who was socially insignificant. Meanwhile, Bartimaeus ignored the crowd and continued to call out to Jesus.
Jesus saw his continued cry for healing, despite the disapproval of the crowd, as an act of faith. Jesus stopped and called Bartimaeus to him. In an instant, the crowd’s attitude changed from one of rebuke to one of encouragement. In fact, one person even said, “Take heart! Get up; he is calling you.”
In that moment, Christ validated Bartimaeus in the face of his naysayers, and his naysayers never saw him quite the same again. Be encouraged that at just the right moment, God will shine your significance in the face of your naysayers.
As you anticipate that moment, remember these words: “He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.” Psalm 37:6-7 (NIV)
