What if She Had Stayed Home?

Have you ever wondered—what if she had stayed home that day?

The woman who had been hemorrhaging for twelve years had every reason to give up. She had spent everything she had on doctors who failed her, endured isolation from society, and carried the weight of disappointment for over a decade. Yet, despite it all, she pressed toward Jesus because she believed that one touch of His garment could change everything.

What if she had focused only on her present suffering? What if she had convinced herself that nothing would ever change?

But she didn’t. She chose faith over fear, movement over stagnation, and hope over despair.

Her story reminds us that your divine path requires perseverance. The road may be long, the obstacles daunting, but a breakthrough happens when you step toward Christ, regardless of your circumstances.

So today, don’t stay home. Don’t settle for what you know. Press forward, press toward Him, and watch His plans unfold in ways beyond your imagination.

As you reflect on that, remember these words: “Blessed is the one who remains steadfast under trial, for when they have stood the test, they will receive the crown of life.”  James 1:12
