When God Feels Silent After Feeling So Close

Scripture references: Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)

There are moments when walking with God feels effortless — when your spirit is in harmony with His, when prayers feel like conversations, and when His responses seem to meet you in perfect rhythm. In those seasons, you feel deeply connected.

And then… without warning… the rhythm shifts. God doesn’t show up in the way you expected. And suddenly you’re doubting again.

Joseph likely knew this feeling well when he found himself in prison longer than he imagined. Yet he never doubted God’s presence in His life – even when his timing differed from God’s and his expectations went unmet for a season; Joseph still kept his heart, spirit, and mind in the right place.

Know this – even when God shifts, it is always for your good.

So when the harmony breaks, keep seeking Him. Keep trusting Him. His ways are perfect.

As you reflect on this, remember these words: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;” Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)

This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.

So today, keep trusting Him.
