When God Turns the Game Around

Some days it feels like you’re too far behind to ever catch up. The path twists, the timing feels off, and you wonder if you somehow missed your moment. But God has a way of stepping into what looks impossible and turning the whole game around.

Think of my team, the Chicago Bears — down 3–16 in the fourth quarter — the kind of deficit that makes fans head for the exits. And yet, with one unexpected play, momentum shifts. Hope rises. What looked finished suddenly becomes winnable.

That’s what God does in your life. He calls plays you couldn’t see coming. He opens doors you didn’t know were there. And what felt delayed begins to unfold right on time.

Your story isn’t over. God is still moving behind the scenes for your good.

As you reflect on that, remember these words — “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 (ESV)
