When Gratitude Makes No Sense

By: Suzette | Published on: Sep 28, 2025 | Categories: Serving God, Staying With It, The Nature of God | 1 Comment

Scripture reference: 1 Thessalonians 5:18

What do you do when life feels chaotic—when nothing makes sense and the future feels uncertain?

That’s when faith asks something extraordinary of you: to respond with trust, gratitude, and a bold belief. Not because the circumstances are easy, but because God is still present.

Jeremiah did just that. In the middle of Israel’s exile to Babylon, he purchased land that was about to be overtaken—an act that made no earthly sense. But Jeremiah wasn’t responding to the chaos around him. He was responding to God’s promise.

Sometimes, the most powerful response is to thank God when things feel out of control. To trust Him more when fear tries to take hold. These are the moments that lift you above your circumstances and anchor you in truth.

As you reflect on that, remember these words: “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
