This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Proverbs 27:17 (ESV)
Today, I am thinking about the divine people God places on our path.
Yesterday I talked about how God has a divine solution for our problems. Just as He led the Israelites to the Promised Land, He is leading us to our destiny as well. Although He doesn’t promise the journey will be free of problems, He does, when we put our trust and faith in Him, have a divine solution to the obstacles we face along the way.
As I read deeper into the text detailing the trek of the Israelites to the Promised Land, it became more apparent to me that God often uses people as divine solutions, too.
For example, while He did use a cloud to shield the Israelites from the sun, He also used Moses as a divine solution. He actually imparted instructions to the Israelites through Moses. He even gave Moses’ brother, Hobab, the ability to act as a unique guide for the Israelites.
Through these instances, we are able to see that sometimes, on our journey to our destiny, God’s divine solutions come in the form of other people. This is an especially important point for me because I have not always recognized the purpose that people serve in my life while they are still there. However, I am trying to become more aware of and grateful for these various people.
Are you appreciating the people in your life who are helping you toward your divine destiny? Have you expressed your gratitude lately?
The words I am going to use to remind me of this are, “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17 (ESV)
Please share this reflection as others desire to be inspired.
So today, take a moment to acknowledge the people on your path.
