This is your B moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.

Scripture reference:  Lamentations 3:25 (ESV)

Transcription:

Today I am encouraging you that your blessings are in escrow. Sometimes when you don’t see your blessing materialized, especially after a lot of prayer, you may think it’s not coming.

But your blessings are real and they are coming; they’re just being held in escrow.

Why escrow? Escrow means that something is being held and it won’t be released until a specified condition has been fulfilled.

This means that God Himself will withhold something that is for your good, something that you have been longing for and praying for until the conditions are just right.

This is precisely what He did in Joseph’s life. Joseph had been in prison for twelve years for a crime he did not commit, and he wanted nothing more than his freedom.

However, God chose to withhold Joseph’s freedom for twelve years to ensure Joseph was not only a free man, but a free man with a purpose; Joseph went from the prison cell to second in command of all of Egypt.

In the natural realm, escrow accounts are not interest-bearing accounts. If you put $1000 into an escrow account, six months later, your escrow balance will still show $1000, as no interest has been earned.

But God’s escrow account always bears interest. You will always take away more than you put in. The key is to stay the course, knowing that your blessings will be released at the perfect time.

As you reflect on that, remember these words:

“The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.” Lamentations 3:25 (ESV)
