Scripture reference: Psalm 139:2
Transcription:
Before stepping into pivotal moments, we often rehearse our words—crafting the perfect way to ask for help, seek forgiveness, or express our deepest hopes. The Prodigal Son did the same. In fact, the reader witnesses the son rehearsing his words after his moment of truth, saying, “I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you.’”
But he didn’t realize his father was present as he rehearsed his words. When his father saw him from a distance, he already knew his words, so he ran to him and kissed him before he spoke.
God is at your dress rehearsal. Every moment of uncertainty, every thought you rehearse in solitude—He sees it all. You don’t need perfect words; His embrace is already on its way, and He is leading you toward something greater than you imagined.
As you reflect on that, remember these words: “You know when I sit and when I rise; You perceive my thoughts from afar.” Psalm 139:2
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
