Scripture reference: Psalm 23:1 (ESV)
Transcription:
Many times, God will meet your needs in unforeseen ways. This is precisely the lesson God taught Moses.
During the Israelites’ long journey to the Promised Land, they became hungry and thirsty, so God instructed Moses to command a nearby rock to pour out its water. Moses struck the rock twice with his staff, and suddenly, water flowed from the rock. There was enough water to satisfy both the people and their livestock.
Moses and Aaron didn’t think twice about the rock being their source of water. In the same way, you may dismiss a person or a new opportunity as a source that can fulfill your needs. I speak from experience, as I can quickly become fixated on one solution and lose sight of God’s myriad ways to solve things.
Sometimes, it’s the option we least expect or resist the most that God will choose to answer our prayers.
As you reflect on that, remember these words: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1 (ESV)
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
