For the last few weeks, we’ve delved into the current political season, a significant aspect that intertwines with our lives and faith. We’ve come to understand that our presence in this era, especially if a new day is dawning in America, is not a mere coincidence but a meticulously orchestrated plan of the divine.
God did not start a great work within you with no plans to finish it. When your purpose aligns with God’s appointed time, He will deliver blessings beyond your expectations.
Trust in His timing, and here are (3) three things to practice as you seek more clarity about how God wants to use you at this time:
- Surrender it All – Ask God for the desires of your heart and trust that He heard you and will deliver according to His divine will and timing. So, surrender your vision, plans, and timeline for how and when things will unfold. Nothing can stop what God has in motion when it’s your time. Remember, surrender is not about giving up but giving in to God’s greater wisdom.
- Keep pressing –do not give up hope. While believers await their rewards, they should continue to do good. As Galatians 6:9 reminds us, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” God is preparing you for something greater than you can imagine. Persevere in your faith and good deeds, and God will deliver blessings beyond your expectations.
- Stay close to God – God is always guiding you, even when you can’t see the path ahead. Stay close to Him through prayer, meditation, and reading His Word. When you are close to Him, you will see His road signs along the way, guiding you towards your destiny. Trust that He is leading you in the right direction, and take comfort in His constant, unwavering presence.
By surrendering, staying hopeful, and remaining close to God, you can trust in His perfect timing and plan for your life.
As you reflect on that, remember these words – “For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.” Habakkuk 2:3
